Light hydrocarbon recovery method
Light hydrocarbon, also known as natural gas condensate (NGL), covers C2 ~ C2 + in composition and contains condensate components (C3 ~ C5).Light hydrocarbon recovery refers to the recovery of heavier components in natural gas than methane or ethane in liquid form.
Light ends recovery unit is the process of processing associated gas to obtain liquid light hydrocarbon.
The main recovery methods are adsorption, oil absorption and condensation separation.
Adsorption method is a method to separate hydrocarbon gas by using the difference of adsorption capacity of solid adsorbent with porous structure to hydrocarbon components. Its principle is similar to that of process molecular sieve double tower adsorption dehydration;
Oil absorption method is a method to separate different hydrocarbon gases based on the difference of solubility of components in natural gas in absorbed oil;
Condensation separation method is a method that uses the characteristics of different condensation temperatures of various hydrocarbon components in natural gas, cools the natural gas to a certain temperature through refrigeration, condenses and separates hydrocarbons with high boiling point, and fractionates the condensate into qualified products.
