Description

The pig receiving and launching skid, also called pigging transmitter and receiver, referred to as receiving and launching cylinder, belongs to pipeline accessories, widely used in various medium conveying pipelines.

It is generally installed at both ends of the main pipeline for transmitting and receiving pigging, and it can be used for cleaning wax, sweeping oil and removing scale before and after the pipeline is put into production. According to the requirements of users, the skid can be designed for two-way use.

Receiver and launcher is an important process equipment for receiving and sending pigging equipment during pipeline cleaning.

The receiver and launcher is composed of quick-opening blind plate, barrel body, variable-diameter joint, straight pipe section, process pipe, saddle type support and so on. Quick opening blind plate includes blind cover, barrel flange, safety interlock device, opening and closing mechanism and supporting frame.

The safety interlock function of the blind plate is composed of safety lock plate and pressure relief device (the blind plate is self-locking, shockproof, loose-proof and can be opened for secondary pressure relief).

Before the gas transmission pipeline is put into use, the skid can remove the sediment, left tools and other debris in the pipeline;

After the gas transmission pipeline is put into use, condensate water will appear due to the temperature drop of the natural gas with saturated water. At the same time, sulfur-containing natural gas will corrode the pipeline and increase the roughness of the inner wall of the pipeline, which will affect the gas transmission efficiency. The pigging transmitter and receiver device can remove the water and impurities in the pipeline and improve the gas transmission efficiency.
