Description:
Light hydrocarbon recovery refers to the process of liquid recovery of heavier components in natural gas which are heavier than methane or ethane.. On the one hand, it aims to control the hydrocarbon dew point of natural gas to reach the quality index of commercial gas and avoid gas-liquid two-phase flow.
On the other hand, the recovered liquid hydrocarbons have great economic value, which can be used directly as fuel or further separated into ethane, propane, butane or propylene butane mixture (liquefied gas), light oil, etc., and can also be used as chemical raw materials. If the gas is reinjected to keep the reservoir pressure and increase the oil and gas recovery, C2+ should be removed as much as possible.
