    1. Main process of using MDEA solution removing CO2 and H2S:

    Natural from upstream enters the acid removal unit, which uses MDEA solution to remove acid gases such as CO2\H2S from the raw gas.

    Natural gas enters the absorber from the bottom and flows upward. The fully regenerated MDEA solution (lean solution) enters the absorber from the top and flows downward. The countercurrents of the MDEA solution and natural gas fully contact the absorber, absorbing the CO2 and H2S in the gas and transferring them to the liquid phase. Unabsorbed components are drawn from the top of the absorber and enter the deacidification gas cooler and separator. The gas exiting the deacidification gas separator enters the feed gas pre-cooling unit, and the condensate is sent to the flash tank.

    The CO2 content in the treated natural gas is less than 50 PPM, and the H2S content is less than 4 PPM.

    The MDEA solution that has absorbed CO2 and H2S, called the rich liquid, is sent to the flash tower, where the pressure is reduced and the resulting flashed natural gas is sent to the venting system. The flashed rich liquid then exchanges heat with the solution (lean liquid) flowing out of the regeneration tower's bottom. The temperature is then raised to ~203 °F and sent to the upper portion of the regeneration tower, where it undergoes stripping and regeneration until the lean liquid reaches the target concentration.

    The lean liquid from the regeneration tower passes through the lean-rich liquid heat exchanger and the lean liquid cooler, is cooled to 113 °F, and is pressurized by the lean liquid pump before entering the upper part of the absorption tower.

    The outlet gas from the top of the regeneration tower passes through the acid gas cooler and enters the acid gas separator. The gas exiting the acid gas separator is sent to the acid gas discharge system, and the condensate returns to the MDEA buffer tank.

    The heat source of the regeneration tower reboiler is heated by thermal oil .

    The main process equipment of this unit is absorption tower and regeneration tower.
